Where 's your lifes' Perspective?'
I have been thinking lately about life and it scares me sometimes. Today I was e-mailing to a friend and it scared me to think about how much we have changed in the past so many years. We're growing up. She just turned 18 and I will be 20 in a couple of months.Before we know it we'll be married with kids. We wont be these crazy teenagers who laugh at the craziest things. We wont be able to call each other up like we do and spend the first 1/2 hour to an 1 hr. laughing. About what? Nothing.
Sometimes I wish I could have stayed 18 forever. An adult but still a teenager. You know what I mean. A lot less things to worry about. But wait a minute I guess I better stop, I don't have to worry about anything though do I? But still I feel kind of sentimental for some reason and I don't know why.;) I want to make a difference in this world for Christ and yet I find myself looking ahead and freaking out so much. Mercy, sometimes I have to laugh at myself. Here I am sitting here worrying about, what? Getting old and I'm not even 20 yet. Oh my, it is so easy to get our perspectives on the wrong thing to worry about things that you can't change when there are people everywhere who need Christ. They need love, they need people who care and we (at least I do) worry about things in life we can't change. We're afraid of the future of what might happen etc. Oh we (I) must get our lives into perspective.
